Holders Paris Saint-Germain will meet Arsenal in the Uefa Champions League final after a 1-1 draw in Munich on Wednesday sealed a 6-5 aggregate semi-final win.
Ousmane Dembele struck inside three minutes, slotting home Khvicha Kvaratskhelia’s cutback after Fabian Ruiz’s superb pass, to put PSG two goals up on aggregate.
The early goal stunned Bayern, who never fully recovered despite Harry Kane’s stoppage-time consolation.
PSG controlled the contest for long periods, frustrating a Bayern side that almost matched them in last week’s 5-4 thriller in Paris.
Michael Olise and Kane were kept quiet; and referee Joao Pinheiro controversially waved away penalty appeals when Vitinha’s clearance hit Joao Neves’ arm.
Manuel Neuer denied Neves a second with a close-range save and Jamal Musiala forced a smart stop from Matvey Safonov before half-time.
Luis Enrique’s side sat deeper after the break but remained dangerous on the break, with Neuer keeping out Kvaratskhelia and Desire Doue to keep Bayern in it.
Kane’s late finish made it seven Champions League games in a row with a goal, but it came too late for the hosts.
Arsenal reached their first final since 2006 with a 1-0 win over Atletico Madrid after Bukayo Saka’s 44th-minute strike sealed a 2-1 aggregate victory at the Emirates on Tuesday.
The final is set for 30 May in Budapest, where PSG will aim to become only the second team since 1990 to win back-to-back titles after Real Madrid.
