- DJ Warrick Stock says Rachel Kolisi is using her divorce from Siya Kolisi to remain in the spotlight and attract sympathy from the public.
- Rachel Kolisi has not responded publicly to the criticism of her documentary, which her website says is not about her divorce from Siya Kolisi.
Rachel Kolisi is facing public criticism from DJ Warrick Stock, also known as Warras, over her upcoming documentary Falling Forward.
The film is described on its official website as a personal story about Rachel’s life. It focuses on identity, loss, healing, motherhood, courage and rediscovery.
The website states that the documentary is not about her divorce from former Springbok captain Siya Kolisi. The couple announced their separation in November 2024, after years in the public eye.
Warras reacted to a promotional clip shared on X. He accused Rachel of using the divorce to stay relevant and said the separation has become her “whole identity”.
He claimed she is seeking public sympathy and should have dealt with the situation privately, especially because children are involved.
In a series of posts, Warras questioned why Rachel continues to speak publicly about her healing journey. He said divorce is common and does not need ongoing public attention.
Warras also claimed Rachel benefits financially and socially from the separation. He criticised what he called a “victim mindset”.
In another post, he said Rachel is living off the name and legacy built during her marriage to Siya. He described her as a “plus one” and not a public figure in her own right.
He also accused her of being inconsiderate toward Siya Kolisi and their children.
Warras added that he believes the public is being forced to hear a story they are not interested in. He compared Rachel’s public presence to that of Meghan Markle.
Rachel Kolisi has not publicly responded to Warras’ comments.
