Juju is the undisputed champion of the DJ turntables. He spins ‘em and he dances to them and nobody can match him.
Malema was seen showing his moves behind the decks at Winnie Mandela Park in Tembisa at the Siyabonga rally on Saturday, playing some amapiano tunes in front of his supporters.
The party held the event to thank its supporters for voting for the EFF in the local municipal elections.
And while he was still showing that he is a great deep house DJ, he also took to the dance floor to show his dance moves.
So – politics aside – does this make him the coolest politician on the dance floor?
Maybe, maybe not.
When it comes to cool, it is very difficult to beat former president, Jacob Zuma when he takes the mic and sings and dances to “Yinde le ndlela esiyihambayo”, his signature song that gets everybody dancing and singing along to the words, “this road we are travelling on is long”.
And what about the boys and the babes in blue?
The DA’s Helen Zille was seen with Lindiwe Mazibuko and Mmusi Maimane before they broke up – and it’s a good thing they chose politics rather than dance instruction.
In the past the three of them combined could never match the singing and dancing of Msholozi – but now the mantle of king of the turntables may be passing to Juju.
The EFF wraps up the show with a man dubbed “the national bae”, Mbuyiseni Ndlozi, who is a darling of the people when it comes to singing on stage. Ndlozi was given his nickname on social media because he is adored by many people who watched him sing and dance. He doesn’t mind being called “bae” even if it means babe. After all, it’s the women who love him who call him by that name.
