Bad news if you’re dreaming of ribs and buffalo wings: Spur restaurants won’t be opening after lockdown.
The restaurant group says it can’t make money with any restrictions on alcohol or number of customers.
CEO Mark Farrelly says that under the restrictions before lockdown “our turnover dropped 70% and it proved impossible to run a viable business with the restrictions”.
