Pastor Zenzile November lost his temper when he saw a woman falling asleep at his church last Sunday.
“We are only allowed to accommodate a few people and you come here to sleep?” he told the woman as he walked up to her.
“Next time I will kick you out. This isn’t funny,” Pastor November from the Victorious Faith Ministries church in Mangaung said.
A video of the confrontation has gone viral, and the pastor has defended himself telling Scrolla.Africa: “With limited numbers that are allowed [because of Covid], it hurt me to see people sleeping while I was preaching. There are many people who could have taken that seat and never fallen asleep. She woke up and didn’t fall asleep again,” November said.
The woman, who asked to remain anonymous, said it was the first time she had fallen asleep in church. She said November was a very disciplined pastor that loves order in his church.
“I know what the pastor likes and hates. I did what he hated and I am not angry at him for the way he talked with me,” she said.
Pastor November is not someone who shies away from controversy. In 2017 he was filmed during a sermon giving a woman his shoe to put on her private parts to heal them from pimples.
The 33-year-old woman later claimed she was indeed healed by the pastor’s shoe.
