- DJ Euphonik says Ntsiki Mazwai must apologise on the same social media platforms where she called him a “rapist”, saying she keeps refusing to do so.
- Ntsiki Mazwai says the Judge never ordered any apology, saying she is already paying what the court instructed and accuses Euphonik of lying.
DJ Euphonik and poet Ntsiki Mazwai are clashing over the court order and the apology he says she must make.
Euphonik, whose real name is Themba Nkosi, says Ntsiki must apologise on social media. He says she made serious claims about him online and still refuses to take responsibility for them.
In 2022, the Johannesburg High Court ordered Ntsiki not to speak about him on social media after she allegedly called him a “rapist” two years earlier. The court also ordered her to pay legal costs.
Speaking on Gagasi FM, Euphonik said he has been waiting for Ntsiki to apologise. He said his request is simple.
“We’ve asked her many times. She’s lost a few court cases with us. All I said was she must apologise on the same platforms where she said those things and keep it up for 30 days. Then we can move on,” he said.
He said things will not end well for her if she doesn’t apologise. “If she doesn’t apologise, I’ll take it all the way. That means she won’t be able to open a business or a bank account in South Africa,” he said.
Ntsiki fired back on social media. She said she has been following the court’s instructions and has already been paying what the court ordered.
She accused Euphonik of lying about the apology. “Don’t lie. Stop making up stories to suit your broken masculinity. I’m not your plaything,” she wrote.
She said the judge never told her to apologise and she won’t accept demands that are not part of the court ruling.
