Police in Nigeria are searching for a woman who was filmed having sex with a dog in a video that has gone viral on TikTok.

In a second video, the same woman claims to have been paid a lump sum of the equivalent of about R65,000 to have sex with the dog.

“What is the big deal there? I only slept with a dog, I didn’t kill somebody. You, in your life, you have done worse and besides, have you seen N1.7 million before? As if it’s a big deal.”

The woman, whose identity remains unknown, added that she didn’t contract a disease from the sex act.

“Mind you I’m not infected or anything. Stop dying on the matter, I’m enjoying the money,” she stated in the video.

Social media was less than convinced by her attempt to explain the situation, and following the backlash she received for it, the woman tried again.

In a third video the woman said she shared the video as a joke and to get “likes” on social media, but that she deeply regrets it now.

“I’m not the person in the video. I’m sorry for sharing it,” the woman said.

The videos are said to have been recorded in Nigeria but the police are still investigating the exact location where they were filmed.

According to the Criminal Code Act and the Penal Code of Nigeria, having sex with an animal ia an offence known as bestiality which carries a maximum penalty of up to 14-years imprisonment.

The Nigerian Police Force spokesperson Muyiwa Adejobi said posting bestial-natured videos online won’t be tolerated.

Adejobi also vowed that the police will arrest the woman in the video.

“We want to urge you to give us any useful information on how to get these ladies. We need to fish them out please. Thanks,” Adejobi said.
