Nigerian rapper Oladipuppo Olabode Oladimeji, best known as Oladips, who was declared “dead” two weeks ago, has suddenly been “resurrected.”

The 28-year-old artist reappeared two weeks after his management announced his demise.

On Thursday, Oladips confused fans and social media when he posted a video on his Instagram story.

In the video, he vibed to a song from his new album, “Superhero Adugbo.”

Captioning the video, he wrote: “Proof of life”, an apparent contradiction to the obituary post that had previously adorned his Instagram page, which has now been deleted.

He later went live on Instagram and promised to share reasons for the death hoax as soon as he “feels better”.

“When I feel like I’m good enough to address everybody, I’ll come on live and tell you people my side of the story. Na wetin I con tell you people be that. Pray for Oladips,” he said.

Since the news of his “death and resurrection”, many have criticised the rapper for faking his death in an attempt to promote his new album.
