Minister Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma talked the nation through level 4 on Wednesday night.
@DondaMashobane noted: “When #NkosazanaDlaminiZuma speaks in isizulu she comes alive and is a pleasure to listen to.”
It turns out the National Command Council was flooded with requests to open hairdressers. “It was one of the popular requests,” Dlamini-Zuma said.
“We heard you, but that cannot be allowed. It is too risky to do so.”
The minister recommended doing your hair at home, with online advice from hairdressers.
That didn’t go well for @azraaconrad: “After NDZ said that you can do DIY hair and beauty care my hairdresser messaged me asking me not to listen to her and leave my hair alone. Too late, lady.”
Under the new rules, South Africans have to stay from 20h00 until 05h00 every day.
The only exception to this rule is when you are:
- Granted a permit to perform an essential or permitted service
- Attending to a security emergency
- Attending to a medical emergency.
