Ghana lifts lockdown

Ghana is the first African country to lift some of its coronavirus lockdown. The government said on Monday:

-nonessential businesses can now open

-There are still bans on large gatherings and schools will stay closed

-Masks are encouraged

President Nana Akufo-Addo said government was confident to do this because it had expanded testing and tracing. Ghana has had 1042 cases, and nine deaths.
