England fans, who have gained a reputation for bad behaviour in recent years, have been purchasing tickets from the German section ahead of their Uefa Nations League clash on Tuesday night.
Several measures have been implemented to reduce crowd trouble from the England fans, including limiting the away fans section, prohibiting the sale of alcohol and hosting the fixture on a week night instead of over the weekend.
However, the ever-rowdy England fans have managed to find a way to get themselves into the stadium despite the away section being full.
Reports suggest that the England fans have been purchasing tickets directly from the German football federation website, according to The Times.
England have only been allocated 3,466 seats in the Allianz Arena for the encounter but there are fears that thousands of fans will travel to Germany for the game without a match day ticket.
England fans have shown in the past to be disruptive and destructive when it comes to football and manager Gareth Southgate is fearing the same could happen again.
“You are embarrassed when you hear about it [the trouble], because you know it’s a representation of your country,” Southgate said.
The Euro 2020 final between England and Italy at Wembley Stadium was marred when thousands of ticketless supporters broke into the stadium to watch the game.
Around 900 fans who have been banned from stadiums across the country have been forced to hand in their passports to local police to ensure they do not travel to Germany for the game.
England has sent reinforcements to Germany in an attempt to control any trouble that may arise.
The English Football Association said they believe their German counterparts are aware of the ticket issue and are looking to cancel them.
Both England and Germany failed to gain maximum points from their Nations League opener.
England lost 1-0 to Hungary while Germany drew 1-1 with Italy on Saturday night.
The huge clash between the two historic giants is scheduled to kick off at 8.45pm on Tuesday night.
