Limpopo musician Shebeshxt, real name Lehlogonolo Chauke, was involved in a tragic accident that resulted in the death of his nine-year-old daughter.
The accident took place on the R37 road near Smelters Mine in Limpopo at around 10pm on Saturday night. The musician was en route to perform at an ANC Siyanqoba Rally celebration concert in Lebowakgomo.
Shebeshxt was driving a Volkswagen Polo with three passengers when the vehicle collided with a truck and overturned. Tragically, his daughter died from her injuries from the accident.The passengers sustained minor injuries, while Shebeshxt himself injured a leg, as seen in videos from the scene.
Tidimalo Chuene, spokesperson for the transport department in Limpopo, confirmed on Sunday morning that the nine-year-old girl passed away.
This marks the second accident Shebeshxt has survived this year. He was involved in another accident in February but escaped. Following that incident, he bought a new car.
In light of these events, traditional healers have warned Shebeshxt to be cautious, suggesting that they sense danger around him. It seems their forewarnings of disaster have come to pass, Fakaza news reported.
The controversial artist also shared a post confirming that his daughter has passed away.
“My life will never be the same without your presence,” he said.
