Police say four armed men opened fire on Ndima while he was in his car. He tried to drive away but lost control and crashed into a wall a street away. The attackers followed and fired more shots before running off.

Police found several bullet shells at the scene and believe high-calibre weapons were used.
Ndima’s friend, who was in the car, survived the attack and was taken to hospital.
