Queen Ntokozo kaMayisela has returned to the Zulu royal palace after disappearing for nearly a year when the king took another wife.

She’s back at KwaNkomonye Palace in Ulundi where senior royals have advised her about accepting that King Misuzulu kaZwelithini must take many wives to expand the royal family.

Sources say kaMayisela was in Durban with her children who study there.

“She was hurt when His Majesty took Queen Nomzamo kaMyeni as the third wife. But they explained he’ll take more wives to revive King Shaka’s KwaDukuza Palace and KwaNobamba Palace,” a source told Scrolla.Africa.

Queen kaMyeni has welcomed her back by sharing gifts the king received from seven traditional leaders at KwaKhangela Amankengane Palace last month.

Last year, sources told ZiMoja that kaMayisela had lost her bodyguards and cars when things soured with the king. She was seen in uMhlanga with her child where she has been residing without security.

Neither Queen kaMayisela nor the king’s spokesperson Prince Simphiwe Zulu could be reached for comment.
