World news bites: China and Zambia to build cholera vaccine factory

Zambia – The country is teaming up with China to build its first cholera vaccine factory. The $37-million plant will make three million doses a year. President Hakainde Hichilema says the factory will help beat cholera and make Zambia Africa’s top cholera vaccine producer. China is giving Zambia three million doses to start with.

US – Lawyer Ariel Mitchell-Kidd claims Sean “Diddy” Combs, his bodyguard, and a friend attacked a woman at Combs’s home. Mitchell-Kidd says Combs threatened her unnamed client with a knife and maybe used drugs.

Mexico – New Chilpancingo mayor Alejandro Arcos was killed days after starting the job. He was beheaded. This comes after the city secretary was also killed. Mexico is facing more political violence. President Claudia Sheinbaum called it “unfortunate” and plans to boost security. At least 34 candidates were killed in the last election.

US – A$AP Rocky joked that his son RZA has Rihanna’s “big forehead” but otherwise looks like him. He says RZA is shy like him, while baby Riot is outgoing like Rihanna. Rocky likes the family’s big foreheads, even mentioning it in a song. He says Riot looks up to his big brother.
