South African singer Tyla postponed her international tour dates due to an injury.
She announced on Thursday that her UK & Europe tour, covering cities like Oslo, Stockholm, Berlin, and London, is being rescheduled.
Her North America tour, which was supposed to include her debut Coachella performance, has also been cancelled.
Tyla in a statement on Instagram to her fans, whom she calls Tygers, said she wanted to keep her injury private but felt she had to tell her followers about it.
“All of you know that you have all helped me transform into a reality has been a life-long dream. I am so grateful and humbled by this past year and the way it’s changed my life,” News24 reported.
“In consulting with medical professionals, it’s become increasingly clear that continuing any festival or tour dates would jeopardise my long-term health and safety.”
