Toya Delazy regrets working with rapper Cassper Nyovest on a song early in her career.
A social media user shared how much they enjoyed her song with Cassper, called “My City”.
Toya responded to the post, accusing Cassper of ingratitude and describing him as a “vile person”.
“Lol, no lie, I wish I didn’t collaborate with that kid. Can’t listen to it,” the singer said.
“Waste of a good song. I could have gotten AKA, but I was young, and I wasn’t thinking … My heart was too big, and I gave a chance to a vile person.”
Toya previously said she helped Cassper achieve success with their collaboration on “My City”.
However, she feels that once he achieved fame, he ignored their friendship.
Toya – real name Latoya Nontokozo Buthelezi – is known for her music genre called Afro Rave, which fuses techno, drum, bass, and beats with Zulu lyricism.
