- He says Sakupwanya bought her a Lamborghini. Neither of them has confirmed or denied it.
Thuli Phongolo is rumoured to be dating Zimbabwean gold tycoon Scott Sakupwanya.
Controversial blogger Musa Khawula made the claim on social media and said Sakupwanya bought Thuli a Lamborghini.
Sakupwanya is a wealthy businessman, a politician in the ruling party Zanu PF, and a friend of boxing star Floyd Mayweather. He also owns top football team Scottland FC, which includes ex-Kaizer Chiefs player Khama Billiat, Briefly reported.
Thuli and Sakupwanya have not said anything about the rumours, but fans are buzzing online.
Thuli, who rose to fame on Generations, is known for her big social media following and past relationship with DJ Maphorisa.
She accused Maphorisa of gender-based violence. The charges were later dropped.
Sakupwanya was also once linked to influencer Mihlali Ndamase, but he denied knowing her.
For now, there’s no confirmation.
