Ravindra Jadeja and Ruturaj Gaikwad helped the Chennai Super Kings to a seven wicket win over the Kolkata Knight Riders in the Indian Premier League on Monday.
Jadeja’s 3-18 with the ball restricted KKR to just 137-9 in their 20 overs, a score CSK chased down with more than two overs to spare.
Gaikwad struck a composed, unbeaten 67 of 58 balls while Shivam Dube and Daryl Mitchell got cameos to help Chennai into the top four places.
The IPL table is beginning to take some serious shape, with the Rajasthan Royals now the only side yet to have been beaten in the competition this season.
Rajasthan most recently picked up a victory over the Royal Challengers Bengaluru, who sit second from bottom above the Delhi Capitals with just one win from five.
The Mumbai Indians will look to continue their strong turnaround, with the first win of the campaign coming over Delhi on Saturday.
Mumbai take on Bengaluru on Thursday as Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli face-off dispute not leading their respective franchises anymore.
On Tuesday, the Punjab Kings face the Sunrisers Hyderabad in Chandigarh before Rajasthan Royals host the Gujarat Titans in Jaipur on Wednesday.
