Radio presenter Anele Mdoda is living her best life in New York City with her six-year-old son Alakhe.
The 37-year-old from Mthatha shared pictures of her son chilling at the Daily Show Studios on the same day that Burna Boy turned up for an interview with host Trevor Noah.
“Burna Boy is on The Daily Show tonight and Alakhe was at the welcoming party. What a great interview. Burna Boy had a complaint about Trevor and he was not wrong, shem,” Mdoda wrote in a twitter post accompanied with a picture of Alakhe being held high by Noah.
Mdoda, a popular presenter on 947 radio, is a close friend of both talk show host Noah and the Nigerian Afrobeat musician, Burna Boy.
Another adorable pic showed Alakhe warming up Noah’s chair with the giant Daily Show loitering behind him.
On 14 April, Mdoda announced that she will be going off radio for two months to travel the world and attend global master classes in various countries.
The Future-Fit master classes will also benefit the radio station, according to a statement issued by 947.
“Thando Thabethe will stand in for Anele, with Frankie, Thembekile and Cindy by her side, while Zweli will take on Afternoon Drive and newcomer Anathi Seyisi will host Nights on 947,” read the statement.
Meanwhile, Mdoda is expected to return to the Club Breakfast Show on 1 July this year.
