A herd of 21 cattle from the Shembe Nazareth Baptist Church has been presented in the form of a blessing to the Zulu King.
The 21 cattle will be slaughtered at His Majestyโs mass religious gathering to be held at the weekend at eNyokeni Royal Palace in Nongoma, northern KZN.
On Wednesday, evangelists, bishops and reverends of the Shembe Nazareth Baptist Church flocked to eNyokeni Royal Palace to bow to King Misuzulu KaZwelithini with the cattle herd
The cattle were accepted by senior Prince Vanana Zulu of KwaMinyamanzi, along with Prince Simphiwe Zulu of the kwaZiphethe royal house and other royals.
Scrolla.Africa understands that the cattle were presented to the Zulu King so that they could be slaughtered at the mass church ceremony that will be held on Saturday at eNyokeni Royal Palace.
The service will be hosted by King Misuzulu KaZwelithini and the Shembe Nazareth Baptist Church leader from eBuhleni, Mduduzi Nyazilwezulu Shembe.

Church spokesperson Thokozani Mncwabe told Scrolla.Africa that history will be made on Saturday.
“It will be a meeting of the giants of the Zulu nation: King Misuzulu KaZwelithini and our church leader uNyazilwezulu,” said Mncwabe.
The connection between the Shembe Church and the Zulu Monarch goes back to the early 20th century. The church was founded in 1910 to bring the Zulu nation back to their roots despite the invasion of the colonialists that had already forced the Zulus to abandon their religion and cultural rituals.
This happened around 1879 ahead of the Battle of Isandlwana, which is well documented in the book titled Eyes in the Night by veteran journalist Nomavenda Mathiane.
