Amapiano giants Kabza De Small and DJ Maphorisa are making their return to stadium stages with a festival-style show at Loftus Versfeld.
The duo, known as the Scorpion Kings, will host “Scorpion Kings Live with Friends” on Friday, 29 August. The event will began at 2pm with a pre-show stage packed with big names, including DBN Gogo, Blxckie, 25K, Venom, Dlala Thukzin, Dinho, Christos, Vinny Da Vinci, Ba Bethe Gashoazen and Banques.
Kabza and Maphorisa will headline later in the evening, bringing the amapiano heat to close the day. They also hinted at a surprise African guest joining them on stage.
“This is not just an Amapiano show; it’s a full-day experience,” the pair said in a statement. “The pre-show stage is all about celebrating music and making the day unforgettable.”
It will be the Scorpion Kings’ first large-scale stadium concert since 2022. They have promised a high-production show mixing amapiano with other genres, while celebrating African culture and collaboration.
