- The government has confirmed four new cases, all in the same group that travelled to Italy with the first two cases.
- The same four have identified 65 people they’ve been near. Health Minister Dr Zweli Mkhize wants them tested and monitored.
- All people entering South Africa from overseas are being tested.
- Mkhize called for calm and said government was still not calling for any travel bans or mass school closures.
