President Ramaphosa has announced that places of religious worship can open from June 1st when the new level 3 lockdown starts.
Churches, mosques, synagogues and other places of worship will then be able to hold services for up to 50 people, depending on space.
Worshippers will have to wear face masks and observe social distancing.
