- Reality TV star Wandi Ndlovu was released on bail after two weeks in jail following uncle’s fatal stabbing.
- A family fight over loud music allegedly led to Linda Ndlovu being stabbed three times at her Katlehong home.
Reality TV star and social media influencer Wandi Ndlovu, 25, her mother, and her sister Ntombifuthi have been released on bail after spending two weeks in jail.
They were arrested after Wandi’s uncle, Linda Ndlovu, was fatally stabbed at their home in Katlehong.
The incident happened during a family fight.
A source close to the family says the argument began when Wandi’s mother asked her brother, Linda, to turn down loud music in his backroom.
The two reportedly got into a physical fight, and she was injured.
Wandi, Ntombifuthi, and their younger sister, who is said to be underage, then went to speak to Linda.
During this, one of them allegedly stabbed him.
He was later found outside the house and died before paramedics could help him.
The family is being represented by lawyer Dumisani Mabunda, who also worked on the “Dr” Matthew Lani case.
He celebrated their release outside court on 5 August.
Police have not yet made a full statement, and the next court date is not known.
Ndlovu posted “God is good” on social media after being released and said she would one day tell her side of the story.
A voice note believed to be from Wandi’s aunt is being shared online. In it, she says Linda was stabbed three times and left outside in the cold.
“He didn’t die from the wounds, but from the cold,” the aunt allegedly said.
People in the Katlehong community are angry and have warned the family not to return to the house.
The house was reportedly built by Ndlovu after she came back from Nigeria, where she worked as an adult entertainer.
Linda was said to be the main provider for the household.
