- Popular rapper Big Zulu was rushed to hospital after his BMW was damaged in an accident on Sunday night.
- The Inkabi Nation boss’s crash comes just two weeks after another artist from his record label was also in an accident.
Popular Zulu rapper Big Zulu is in hospital after crashing his BMW 325 on Sunday night.
The star, whose real name is Siyabonga Nene, was badly hurt in the accident, his record label Inkabi Nation said.
The label did not specify the severity of his injuries but asked fans to pray for the Mali Eningi hitmaker.
“We will keep you updated on his progress and any further developments,” Inkabi Nation said in a statement.
Sources say his beloved BMW 325is was badly damaged in the crash.

Big Zulu hails from the Bergville area, located under the majestic Drakensberg mountain range in KZN. He is a former minibus taxi driver turned rapper.

Recently, he ventured into the logistics business as part of his music enterprise diversification strategy and purchased two Scania tractor-horse trucks worth a combined almost R3 million.
The accident comes just two weeks after another Inkabi Nation artist, Xolwa (real name Xolani Shabalala), was also involved in a car crash.
The label has promised to keep fans updated on Big Zulu’s recovery.
