- Her health scare follows King Misuzulu cancelling their wedding and reuniting with his first wife.
Queen Nomzamo kaMyeni, the third wife of King Misuzulu kaZwelithini, is recovering in a Durban hospital after she was hit by a stroke, allegedly brought on by a suspected suicide attempt.
Sources told Scrolla.Africa that Queen kaMyeni overdosed on medication after her royal wedding was suddenly cancelled.
She was due to marry the king on 26 January in a Shembe ceremony, but the king called it off, claiming he needed to focus on matters of national importance like the Ingonyama Trust and iThala bank issues.
โShe took a lot of tablets and we believe she was trying to kill herself. She was admitted to hospital, and many royals are worried about her,โ said a royal insider.
After the wedding was cancelled, the king reportedly sent delegates with a cow to apologise to the Myeni family.
But Queen kaMyeni has not been the same since.

She was also left stranded during the State of the Province Address in Pietermaritzburg.
Sources added that the king tried to take away her state-funded bodyguards.
Recently, King Misuzulu has been seen with his new bride-to-be, Princess Sihle Mdluli, in Mpumalanga.
Meanwhile, Queen kaMyeni has been staying alone in uPhongolo, having left the Machobeni Royal Palace in Ngwavuma.
A viral video showing her appearing drunk shocked many on social media.
The kingโs office confirmed her hospitalisation, saying: โShe was hit by a stroke and is getting medical attention in a Durban hospital.โ
Queen kaMyeni is reportedly devastated by King Misuzuluโs reunion with his first wife, Queen Ntokozo kaMayisela.
