Prophet’s muthi fails to make DJ invisible to evade arrest

He promised the DJ he would make him invisible but that never happened. Now people are laughing at the healer, calling him a fake and pointing out to him that the man he said would be invisible is behind bars – in plain sight of any cop who cares to look at him.

Perhaps the embarrassed Bhongolethu Mzozo known as Dr Khehlelezi wouldn’t mind making himself invisible to hide from the people who are laughing at him.

Mzozo allegedly gave the radio DJ, Ngizwe Mchunu muthi and promised that he will never be caught, but Mchunu has been behind bars for a week since last Monday.

At the time, Mchunu was wanted for instigating violence in the unrest in Gauteng and KZN.

Over the weekend some Sunday publications took to their gossip colums to question Khehlelezi’s muthi.

It is alleged that Dr Khehlelezi tried so hard to make sure that the police were unable to get Mchunu that he even flew him in a private jet from Gauteng after he delivered his address where he warned President Cyril Ramaphosa and Police Minister Bheki Cele that if former president Jacob Zuma was not released within three days things will turn bad for the country.

The traditional healer also warned that if any police arrest Mchunu, they will die.

None of that has happened.

When contacted for comment Khehlelezi confirmed that he gave Mchunu his powerful muthi to evade the police.

“The muthi worked because no police managed to arrest him. I am the one who took Mchunu to them. I don’t know why my muthi’s powers are being questioned. If I didn’t hand him over he would not have been arrested,” he said.

He said no police officer will die because they couldn’t arrest Mchunu.

Mchunu is expected to apply for bail at Randburg Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday.
