After gigging in Zambia, A-Reece and his brother Jay Jody have released a nostalgic music video of their song “Indoor Interlude”.

Already a hit without visuals, “Indoor Interlude” shows A-Reece’s spiritual affinity for marijuana.

With a 1990s vibe, the music video depicts the iconic scene from the legendary music video of the great Biggie Smalls and Puff Daddy. Jay Jody and A-Reece rap their hearts out standing on a balcony of a lavish white mansion.

Recreating the music video of DJ Khaled’s “The One”, the duo from Pretoria also rap from the big lawn, surrounded by perfectly trimmed trees.

And in between sets of the fancy lifestyle, A-Reece sits at the centre of a group of ballet dancers to mimic the iconic “Runaway” music video by Kanye West and Pusha T.

The creative music video was directed by Masebedi and is currently sitting at number 10 on the trending list on YouTube with over 160,000 views since its release on 1 July.

The duo, which is now known as the Blue Tape, released their first album in December 2021. Members from the former group called The Wrecking went their separate ways to pursue solo careers in hip hop music.
