DJ Oscar Mbo is accused of cheating on his long-time girlfriend, Lerato Phasha, with a young woman named Mamello Tyatyi from Daveyton in Ekurhuleni.
The claims were first made by gossip blogger Musa Khawula, who said Oscar was dating Mamello while still in a relationship with Lerato.
An Instagram page, salties_.unmasked, added more to the story by posting what it claimed was “proof” of Oscar’s cheating.
The post showed screenshots of conversations between Oscar and Mamello and was captioned: “Deleted posts on a 2k who was very close to Oscar Mbo.”
The post described Mamello’s experiences with the DJ, saying she went with him to his gigs, on shopping sprees, and got free food and alcohol.
It also said Mamello claimed that Oscar was “addicted to her tongue.” The post ended with: “Oscar Mbo loves them young and gullible.”
This scandal comes after other famous musicians, like Kabza De Small and Cassper Nyovest, have also faced cheating rumours.
Makhadzi also recently accused Oscar of cutting her performance short at the Macufe Festival on 12 October, but Oscar denied it, saying Makhadzi arrived late and was lying.
Scrolla.Africa sent a direct message to Oscar’s Instagram page asking for his comment but had not received a response by the time of publication.
