The government’s online vaccination portal for over 60s has gone live.
Until now, it’s just been open to health workers.
The portal reads:
“Everyone who registers will be offered vaccination. We will start with people 60 years and older and move down the age groups as quickly as we can.”
A Covid expert familiar with the programme said that while there were obvious problems with the programme – and with supply, following the government’s decision to pause the Johnson & Johnson vaccine – this was a major step. At the very least, signing up should give you a place in the queue.
