Music boss Nota Baloyi will spend 60 days in jail for defying a court order that instructed him to stop accusing rapper K.O. of killing AKA.
Police arrested Baloyi at the Randburg court on Thursday, where he was appearing for a separate case. He is also facing rape charges filed by actress Itumeleng Bokaba.
The court stated: “The Sheriff of the court and the South African Police Service are directed to take the respondent into custody and to deliver the respondent to Leeuwkop Prison or any other prison within Gauteng for a period of sixty days.”
This isn’t Baloyi’s first issue with the law. In October, he turned himself into the police on the rape charges and spent a weekend in jail before paying R5,000 bail for his release.
According to Sunday World, Baloyi continued to make allegations about K.O. being involved in AKA’s murder even after the court instructed him to stop.
