TV star Minnie Dlamini has broken her silence about the things MacG said about her on his podcast that left her family humiliated.
Back in April 2025, MacG and his co-hosts Sol Phenduka and The Ghost Lady tore into Minnie’s breakup with Dr Brian Monaisa on Podcast and Chill.
During the show, MacG made crude and disrespectful comments about Minnie’s private parts that shocked listeners.
Minnie was forced to take legal action against the podcaster, but the damage was already done to her reputation and her family’s dignity.
Speaking on The Motherhood Network podcast with her friend Nandi Madida, Minnie revealed how MacG’s cruel words destroyed her loved ones.
“My dad, brother and mother had to hear that. My child will grow up and read those things one day. It’s not okay,” she said with pain in her voice.
Minnie believes MacG’s nasty attitude toward her comes from her decision to support actress Amanda du Pont in her fight against abuse.
The TV personality and Nandi spoke about how gender-based violence often starts with the way men talk about women in public.
“It starts with how men speak about women,” Minnie said. “We should not accept this kind of talk. It’s wrong!”
Nandi revealed that although she once supported MacG’s podcast, she was disgusted by what he said about her friend.
She explained that her husband, musician Zakes Bantwini, tried to call MacG after the incident.
When he couldn’t reach the podcaster, Zakes called Sol Phenduka instead and told him to speak to MacG about his behaviour.
“What happened was not okay,” Zakes told Sol.
Nandi warned that MacG doesn’t understand how much power his platform has over young men who worship him.
“So many young men watch his show. I don’t think MacG knows how much influence he has,” she said.
