Young IT guru Excellent Muvhango from Makhado is over the moon that his great idea for a digital classroom has reached a lot further than his small hometown in Limpopo Province – and Scrolla.Africa played a part!
Due to Covid issues, he could not attend the Founder of the Year Awards Africa 2021 in Kenya but in absentia he won Edupreneur of the Year Under 30 Category. His co-winner is Erick Chiyota.
Muvhango was supposed to attend the finals in Nairobi but missed the flight due to the late release of his Covid results.
Muvhango has won a trophy, a certificate and cash.
“A few months ago we were a little known company, but Scrolla.Africa exposed what we were doing,” said Muvhango.
“We were competing with big companies whose exposure was far greater than ours as they were doing business with the government.”
He said they are known all over the continent and their client base has increased.
“It would be wrong of us not to thank Scrolla.Africa for putting us on the map,” he said.
Muvhango said their idea came from a desire to help learners during difficult times but the project has opened doors worldwide and more especially in the African continent.
“Our credibility has improved tremendously by strengthening the bond we have with our clients. Representing the country means a lot to us and we will continue doing good for the sake of our community,” Muvhango said.
