- The Limpopo Marula Festival brings 10 days of culture and music to Phalaborwa from 21 February.
- Top stars Zonke, Makhadzi, Benjamin Dube and King Monada will perform at the main event.
Top singers Zonke, Makhadzi, Benjamin Dube, and King Monada will headline this year’s Limpopo Marula Festival in Phalaborwa.
This annual celebration of music, arts, and local culture kicks off on 21 February and runs until 2 March, with the main event at Impala Park Stadium on 1 March.
The festival celebrates the traditional marula fruit, which plays a big role in local culture and helps create jobs in Limpopo.
Festival-goers can take part in various events over the 10 days, including a street parade, family running race, film screenings, job fair, golf tournament, and music sessions.
Limpopo MEC for Economic Development, Environment, and Tourism, Tshitereke Matibe, said he was excited about the return of the festival.
He said people could look forward to traditional marula beer-making and great music.
More than 20 performers will take to the stage during the festival.
Fans can buy tickets at Computicket and Shoprite. General entry costs R200, and VIP tickets are R800.
