- She left the reunion filming early and blasted the show on Instagram for what she called discrimination against her children.
Reality TV star Kabelo Jantjies, known as Mrs J, has slammed The Mommy Club for cutting her children out of the show – and leaving them out of the reunion.
Mrs J took to Instagram to vent her anger after the Season 3 reunion, which she walked out of before filming wrapped up.
“Week in, week out, we all had hopes that the scene with my children would play, but it did not,” she wrote. “No explanation, nothing.”
She said that not a single moment she filmed with her kids made it to air – and that producers did not invite her children to the reunion either.
“I was not going to sit there when my child was not invited without any solid reason or explanation,” she said. “How do you explain to the child why they are not invited?”
Mrs J said her children were excluded “from day one until the very last” and called it discrimination.
She hinted that she left before filming ended and said viewers could still watch the second part of the reunion, which is due to air on Saturday, 24 May.
“As unkind as it is, we move on. Hope you all enjoy part two of the reunion,” she wrote.
According to The Citizen, the show’s production team was contacted through MultiChoice but did not respond in time for publication.
In an earlier interview, Mrs J said she planned to use the reunion to call out the other cast members for comments made behind her back.
“I couldn’t believe some of the comments,” she said. “As mothers, I hope we can iron out our differences.”
During the reunion, Mrs J confronted fellow cast member Mrs Sande, who she accused of mocking her ancestral gift.
But she didn’t leave without facing fire herself. Vuyi called her out for what she had said about Pheladi, who did not show up for the reunion.
