More than 90 Cape Town firefighters are battling a blaze on the mountain slopes above Simon’s Town.
The wildfire was reported just after 7am on Tuesday morning, said City of Cape Town’s Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson Jermaine Carelse.
Although the fire is approaching properties on the outskirts of Simon’s Town, officials say there is no need to evacuate.
