South African sweetheart Minnie Dlamini found herself in trouble after a spicy on-air moment involving her ex, footballer Itumeleng Khune, went viral.
The media personality was hosting her show on Mzansi Magic when she confidently declared that Khune had hung up his boots.
But the plot thickened faster than a bubbling potjie when her production team quickly corrected her during the broadcast, saying Khune is still very much in the game.
The moment, captured by sharp-eyed social media users and blasted across TikTok and X, showed Minnie’s face going from confident to “oops-I-did-it-again” as she realised her mistake.
Social media detectives were quick to play the “bitter ex” card, speculating that Dlamini’s comment came from sour grapes.
Fans recalled that Khune reportedly was ready to pay a whopping R1 million lobola for Minnie but she chose to focus on her career instead.
Fast forward, and Minnie’s love life took a different route. She tied the knot with Quinton Jones in 2017, only to file for divorce five years later, with a toddler at her side.
