American rapper Megan Thee Stallion has broken her silence on the events of 12 July 2020, when a shooting left her with multiple wounds in her feet.
On 20 August, Megan named Canadian rapper Tory Lanez as the person who shot her. Taking to Instagram Live to make the announcement, Megan also expressed her frustration with critics who have accused her of lying about the incident.
Lanez has not made a public statement about the situation yet. The Los Angeles District Attorney’s office is considering whether to file charges against Lanez, and will await further investigation before making a decision.
