- The controversial pastor revealed he’s releasing his own music album in October with different types of songs.
Controversial pastor Paseka “Mboro” Motsoeneng surprised many when he appeared at a Sandton nightclub on Thursday night for the launch of DJ Sobzeen’s new album.
But the man of God says he wasn’t there to party – he was on a mission from above.
“Sobzeen is a young artist with great potential. Music can help him earn a living while entertaining others,” Mboro said, The Citizen reported.
The pastor explained that he often gets paid to visit clubs, but he says it’s for spiritual reasons.
“Jesus did not discriminate. Many people in clubs are hurting, and I try to help them find peace,” he said.
“I don’t judge or condemn them. I talk to them about God’s love, and even dance with them – that’s how they find healing.”
But Mboro dropped an even bigger bombshell – he’s working on his first music album, which will be released in October.
He said it will feature different types of music and promised: “We’re closing the year on a different level.”
In 2024, Mboro shared a preview of his first single, Ngiyaba Slicer, which was inspired by his arrest at the time.
The title means “I slice them”, and refers to his claim of beating people who try to fight him.
Last year, Mboro told TshisaLIVE that he wanted to learn more about the music business before releasing the song.
“It’s me singing, so I need to control the message and make sure people understand what I mean,” he said.
