Hit singer Mawhoo brought smiles to children’s faces when she visited three schools in KwaZulu-Natal to give back to the community.
The star, known for her viral hits, shared pictures of her school visits on Facebook.

Mawhoo, whose real name is Thandeka Ngema, hails from Eshowe in northern KZN. She was born on 16 December 1994.
The singer and model shot to fame with her first single, Umshado, featuring Heavy-K.
“I visited three schools in KZN to give back to the community. I shared my blessings with quite a number of families and students,” she said.

The singer also quoted Proverbs 22:9 from the Bible, saying, “Generous hands are blessed hands because they give bread to the needy.”
She reached new heights when maskandi star Mthandeni Manqele featured her in his song Gucci. The song was a massive hit on YouTube, drawing nearly two million views in just five days.
