  • Khuzani Mpungose, known as Indlamlenze, announced his December wedding after his elder brother Zakhe, a traditional leader, tied the knot.
  • The singer says marriage is a “green light” for his dream of polygamy, but he has not revealed his fiancée’s identity.

Maskandi star Khuzani Mpungose has revealed he will get married on 15 December at his home in Mandaba village, Nkandla.

The award-winning artist, known to fans as Indlamlenze, made the announcement on Saturday during the wedding of his elder brother Zakhe, who is the traditional leader of the clan.

Khuzani said family tradition required him to wait until his older brother was married before tying the knot himself.

“In fact, I made the announcement in the family after Inkosi, who is my brother, revealed his wedding date. I then decided to tell my family that I am also getting married on 15 December,” he said.

Invitations to the ceremony have already been shared on social media.

Khuzani, who was groomed by the late maskandi legend Indidane Gcwensa, also said his marriage is a step towards his dream of polygamy. He believes in having multiple wives but has not yet revealed the identity of his first bride.

The musician has faced years of taunts from rivals in the maskandi scene. Some accused him of using snakes for success, while others claimed those snakes were blocking him from marriage.

Despite the rumours, Khuzani is preparing for what will be one of the biggest weddings in Nkandla this year.
