SABC journalist and comedian, Lindelani “Livhu” Nengovhela has been arrested in connection with the passing of his wife, Lindelani “Mmea Muofhe” Nengovhela.
Limpopo police confirmed this morning that Nengovhela’s body was found dead at their home in Ha-Sidou.
The suspicious death happened just a day after she appeared in the Thohoyandou magistrate’s court on charges of assault by Madadzhe, which were withdrawn by Nengovhela.
In an exclusive telephonic interview with Scrolla.Africa, Makhado police station spokesperson Tshifhiwa Radzilani, refused to confirm or deny if the comedian is one of the suspects in the suspicious death of a woman who has always been physically abused by Madadzhe.
“The police in Thohoyandou have detained a 38-year-old man after the body of his wife was found in the water-filled pit latrine hole in their yard,” said Radzilani
Nengovhela’s appeal comes after many years of her appealing for public and police protection from her allegedly physically abusive husband.
In 2021, Scrolla.Africa reported that Nengovhela admitted that she silently endured a life of misery and abuse at the hands of her famous husband.
