eBuhleni: The Zulu King has officially introduced his 4th wife Queen Sihle kaMdluli of Mashobeni Royal Palace to the leader of the Shembe Church at eBuhleni in Inanda, north of Durban. The ceremony took place on Saturday soon after Queen kaMdluli and King Misuzulu kaZwelithini’s return from their international trip to the United Kingdom where they were honoured by the British Parliament.
uMhlanga: The Department of Health in KwaZulu-Natal has distanced itself from the expulsion of popular radio presenter Jecinta Ngobese by uMhlanga-based radio station Vuma FM. This comes after allegations that her contract was terminated after one of the radio stakeholders instigated the expulsion of Ngobese. Her expulsion comes after she led a protest against the admission of illegal foreigners at KZN hospitals.
Dokodweni: Five family members including school children who were returning from winter holidays died in a horrific car accident that happened on the N2 near Dokodweni. The incident happened on Sunday afternoon as many families were travelling back from winter holidays to take children back to school.
