“She wants the late king’s children taken off the government’s support list, which has caused a lot of anger.

She was also accused of making mistakes with royal protocol during the State of the Province Address, which led to King Misuzulu leaving his wife, Queen Nomzamo kaMyeni, stranded without a vehicle.

Things are tense because she is even clashing with the King’s private office, which was recently introduced at a meeting of amakhosi in Nongoma,” a source said.

Mdletshe is also accused of hiring her brother, Sifiso Mdletshe, after the King’s chef, Katlego Msibi, was dismissed.
