- Dr Nolubabalo Mcinga left King Buyelekhaya Dalindyebo after three months of marriage and has denied dating Chris the Billionaire.
- Queen Khazeka says she once turned down Chris the Billionaire’s marriage proposal and will only reunite with him through a polygamous arrangement.
Dr Nolubabalo Mcinga, known as Queen Khazeka, is shutting down rumours that she is dating Malawian online personality Chris the Billionaire. But she is not denying that the two have a future. She just has conditions.
Mcinga married AbaThembu King Buyelekhaya Dalindyebo on 1 September 2023. The marriage lasted three months. By December 2023, it was over. She later said political interference inside the kingdom and safety concerns made it impossible to stay.
Since then, Mcinga completed her PhD and moved her focus to her career and politics. She served in the National Council of Provinces as an EFF member before resigning in late 2024 to join the MK Party.
Now social media is linking her to Chris the Billionaire, a Malawian entrepreneur known for his motivational content and luxury lifestyle. Mcinga told Scrolla.Africa on Thursday that the two go back further than people know.
“I don’t deny that we dated when we both had nothing and we prayed for all we have now,” she said.
“But when he wanted to marry me I rejected him because I wanted to build my career and he left me and got married.”
She says they are not dating now. But there are discussions.
“We are not dating but there are discussions of us uniting,” she said.
“I want a polygamous relationship, not for him to leave his wife. It’s either she agrees for me to be the second wife or I won’t be part of Chris’s life.”
Mcinga said ending poverty is something she and Chris share, and that her reason for leaving the King was never about the title.
“It was never about the title for me but to serve the people,” she said.
