South Africa’s Legendary actor John Kani has just finished shooting a Netflix original movie, Murder Mystery 2, with comedian Adam Sandler.
Kani revealed this during an interview with Cape Talk on Wednesday.
Murder Mystery 2 is a sequel to a 2019 film, Murder Mystery, where the veteran actor played the part of Colonel Ulenga.
Just as in the first movie, the 79-year-old actor from the Eastern Cape will be starring alongside comedian Adam Sandler and Hollywood actress Jennifer Aniston.
Kani said he had just finished shooting the film in Paris; they also shot in Hawaii and London. “I am working on another project as well,” he said.
Murder Mystery portrays the story of New York police officer Nick, played by Sandler, and his wife Audrey travelling on a European vacation to rekindle the passion in their marriage.
They are later framed for the death of a billionaire and forced to go on the run.
The movie sequel is directed by Jeremy Garelick and will be shown on Netflix early next year.
