It will be the Joburg Super Kings up against the Durban Super Giants at the Wanderers on Thursday, with a place in the Betway SA20 final up for grabs.
The Super Kings were phenomenal from start to finish on Wednesday as they continued their late fightback in the competition.
Bowling first, Faf du Plessis’ men dismissed the Paarl Royals for it 138 — with man of the match Sam Cook taking 4/24 in his four overs.
David Miller top scored for the visitors with 47 while Jason Roy and Dane Vilas were dismissed in their 20s by Nandre Burger.
In response, once again it was the du Plessis (55) and Leus du Plooy (68) show for the men in yellow.
With the Bullring behind them, Joburg soared to their third win in four games, with the result being achieved in less than 14 overs.
Defending champions Sunrisers Eastern Cape already booked their spot in the Newlands final. Now, Joburg and Durban must meet on Thursday to battle it out for the remaining spot in Sunday’s highly anticipated showdown.
