Baker Kurhula Makhubele can bake cakes sculpted into any form, from cabbage to frogs.
The self-taught baker recently baked a life-size cake of Grammy winner DJ Black Coffee.
Black Coffee, whose real name is Nkosinathi Maphumulo, won his first Grammy for Best Dance/Electronic Album last month.
She made the cake to celebrate Black Coffee’s win.
On her instagram page, Makhubele wrote that the two-metre cake was the tallest she has ever made.
“It weighs more than 100kg with 84 layers of sponge cake,” she said in the post.
A self-taught baker, she is the founder of Fine Bakes in Kempton Park, Gauteng.
Her extraordinary cakes first went viral in 2020 when she posted a chocolate cake designed to look like a chicken licken delivery.
