Get intimate and enjoy the food, the reading, and get healed

It will be a buffet of healing when a sangoma, a chef, and an author get intimate this Saturday!

The three women have organised what they call an intimate lunch where they will bring other women to join them in a session of healing, good food, and beautiful reading.

Sangoma, Dr Refiloe Moyo said they aim to bring spirituality to life, consciousness, and heal the mind and soul and do it away from their social media platforms where thousands of women from all walks of life ask for their advice.

Dr Refiloe said the intimate lunch will bring the three women together to discuss a variety of issues affecting society.

Dr Refiloe, who enjoys a huge social media following under her hashtag, “Thokoza Gogo,” said she has been practising as a traditional healer since she was 19 years old.

Even though she uses bones to consult with ancestors, she has also taken advantage of modern-day technology, offering free counselling where most people often ask questions and interpretations of their dreams on social media.

Author Yvette Ratshikhopha describes her book, Living Consciously, as “a guide to healing your past, finding your purpose and manifesting the life that you want.” The book will be part of the conversation scheduled in the event, which is going to take place in Johannesburg.

Celebrity chef and traditional healer Doreen Molefe, known as Chef Dee, will join the conversation from the kitchen as tasty food and drinks will be a primary part of the discussions.

The part-time boerboel-dog breeder was the 2016 top-five finalist in the Food Journalist of The Year awards.

“This is the first of many events that will see women from all walks of life share their space with each other over the next few months. We are stronger when we work together,” said Chef Dee.
